875 N Michigan, Chicago IL All Projects

875 N. Michigan stands as one of Chicago’s tallest buildings and boasts an iconic history that secures its place as one of the most recognizable skyscrapers in the world. A mixed-use lifestyle development, before mixed-use was a household term, 875 N. Michigan triumphs as an extraordinary architectural achievement on one of the most prominent retail avenues in the world, while anchoring the north end of Michigan Avenue and Chicago’s stunning skyline. HEARN acquired the approximately 908,000 SF office and 715 car garage component of the building in June 2013. A redevelopment and repositioning included a HVAC retrofit for the entire building, lobby & entry redevelopment, sculpture installation “Lucent” by acclaimed artist Wolfgang Buttress, security upgrade, X-Lounge game room, fire alarm & BAS replacement, common corridor upgrades, fitness & conference center upgrades.
